Informed Consent Policy

The International Journal of Intelligent Computing Systems is committed to protecting the privacy and personal rights of individuals participating in research. Authors must not publish identifiable information—such as names, initials, photographs, or hospital numbers—unless it is scientifically necessary and the individual (or their legal guardian) has provided explicit written informed consent.

Individuals or their legal representatives must be informed about the potential for publication in both print and open-access online formats, which may enable widespread distribution. Authors should remove all non-essential personal details to protect the privacy of individuals wherever possible.

Authors are required to retain signed informed consent documents. The manuscript must include a statement confirming that written informed consent has been obtained and appropriately archived. If consent has been obtained, this must be explicitly acknowledged in the published article.

Note: If the submitted manuscript does not involve human subjects or identifiable personal data, a statement indicating that patient consent is not applicable should be included.
